The aim of the Foundation is to bring up, educate, improve qualifications of children, youths and adults as well as support European integration, cooperation and development of mutual relationships especially in: science (teaching), arts & culture of German and Polish inhabitants of Brandenburg and Lubuskie district.
It is also important to emphasize the cooperation between Neuzelle Lower Secondary School and Zielona Góra Secondary School which are active in "Polish-German Educational Bridge" project. They take part in students/teachers exchanges and create school projects together.
Being the public ulitity facility the European Foundation for Education and Culture is authorized to apply for EU funds in accordance with INTERREG 4A.
The European Foundation for Education and Culture is a public-law foundation based in Zielona Góra (Grünberg) in the Lubuskie region. The foundation currently runs three general-education schools: primary school, gimnazjum and high school. The European Foundation for Education and Culture furthermore is in charge of the Goethe Institute Examination Centre for the Lubuskie region.
The foundation is controlled by the foundation council.
The foundation is managed by the chairman of the foundation.
A high-ranking board of trustees furthermore advices the foundation on administrative activities and projects.
